Penny Lancaster gives insight into marriage with Rod Stewart as she teases husband

 The Great British Sewing Bee's Christmas special aired on Thursday night, and Penny Lancaster made a cameo appearance. Strictly Come Dancing's Johannes Radebe, EastEnders actress Natalie Cassidy, and podcaster Rosie Ramsey were present with Rod Stewart's wife.

The trio was charged with producing some distinctive Christmas products, which required them to put their abilities to the test.

They customised a celebratory apron, made a creative baby outfit out of hand-me-down kids' clothing, and made a fancy dress ensemble based on a pop singer.

Sara Pascoe, the host, observed the contestant's development as judges Esme Young and Patrick Grant meticulously scrutinised each stitch and hem.

Penny revealed she was making Rod an apron for Christmas as they began their first challenge.

However, when talking about their Christmases together, the Loose Women star couldn't help but make fun of the Maggie May singer.

Penny characterised her apron to Sara as "shiny and pretty rock and roll."

"Rod will use this as a stocking stuffer, so. He'll be proud to wear it."

Penny experienced a little sewing machine mistake despite her self-assurance.

She explained what occurred as follows: "This has a lot of stretch. My fabric was drawn into the machine, which then caught me."

The host said, "Penny, you've been sabotaged by the machines." "Can we get a new machine for Penny?"

Penny stated, pointing to her creation, "This will be personalised for my spouse."

"Okay, really? Does he enjoy the holidays? "host asked a question.

The former model joked with her spouse and only stated, "No."

The judges appeared to be impressed by Penny's silver apron when giving her criticism.

When questioned about the glittering apron, Patrick responded, "I believe they are jolly festive."

Penny responded, "I wanted to hear when he was coming," to which the judge retorted, "I mean, I'm not sure about Rod's baubles."

Patrick continued to compliment Penny's sewing abilities while acknowledging that the fabric was "tough to stitch."

The judge joked, "There is no question that this is Ron Stewart's apron, and what would he wear beneath it?" as his co-star questioned.

Penny said, "Oh, you know what Scots wear under their kilts."
