Additionally in Traina Thoughts, Al Michaels enjoys Bill Belichick's foul language, Draymond Green drops a pricey f-bomb, Drew Brees cringes, and more.
1. Josh Allen had an interesting meeting in the backstage/tunnel/locker room/I-don't-know-what-you-call-it area after his team defeated the Patriots 24-10 on Thursday night. Allen completed 22 of 33 passes for 223 yards and two touchdowns.
Jay Z arrived to mix with the opposition after watching the game with Robert Kraft, the owner of the New England Patriots.
The Bills wideout Gabe Davis and Allen were spotted by the rapper/mogul, who greeted the players.
Allen received a pretty legit bro hug from Jay Z, but the quarterback insisted that he didn't believe Jay was aware of Allen's identity.
Although Allen makes an effort to appear humble here, there is simply no way that is true. Jay Z knows who the best or second-best quarterback in the NFL is because he is a true sports fan. Jay Z had also just finished watching Allen destroy the Patriots for three hours.
Although from this angle it appears that Jay Z called out to Davis first and acknowledged him before Allen, it's possible that Jay was simply more eager to meet Davis than Allen.
Or perhaps Jay simply didn't want Allen to blame him for engaging in a stop-and-talk.
2. Nick Folk, the kicker for New England, missed a field goal at the end of the first half of that Patriots-Bills game, prompting Bill Belichick to curse. Al Michaels's response after recognising Belichick's lips was the finest part.
3. The SI Media Podcast this week features an interview with Mike Tirico, who broadcasts Sunday Night Football on NBC.
Tirico discusses how closely he monitors NBC's flex scheduling choices, what goes into flexing a game, and the mechanics of flexing. Tirico replaced Al Michaels in this capacity this year. In addition, Tirico discusses his Sunday game-watching routine, the distinction between Sunday Night Football and Monday Night Football, his opinion on using point spreads and over/unders during games, and much more.
After Tirico, Jimmy and Sal Licata from New York's WFAN radio and SNY TV team up for their weekly "Traina Thoughts" segment. This week, Jimmy discusses topics such as Spotify Unwrapped, the terrible status of Charles Barkley's connection with Michael Jordan, and Jim Nantz recognising his name during the Thanksgiving Day Bills-Lions game.
4. During Tuesday's game between Dallas and Golden State, Draymond Green yelled at a fan to "enjoy the f—-ing game" and "shut up."
The NBA fined Green $25,000 on Thursday for using vulgar language. Green wasn't happy, and it's hard to blame him.
5. Running back Jamaal Williams of the Lions handed his offensive lineman a significant "present."
6. Drew Brees just participated in one of the most embarrassing marketing blunders you'll ever see from a sports figure.
7. DAILY RANDOM VIDEO: Dec. 3 will commemorate the thirteenth anniversary of Michael Scott breaking a group of high school kids' hearts.
